La Casa de los Abuelos
The house where the Pacheco Family were raised and the old bodega have both recently been renovated to become a new wine and culinary space called La Casa de los Abuelos.
As regards architecture, we have maintained and respected what was already there – the rooms, the structure and the floor plan have all been left as they were originally. Where we have had to make changes due to administrative bureaucracy, we have tried to make the differences between the old and the new evident, without concealing or imitating, with the aim of maintaining the originality of the building in a rural setting that transports you back in time.
The restaurant offers several private dining rooms with capacities of 4, 8 and 12 guests, as well as a multimedia event space — the former dovecote — accommodating 24 to 30 guests, ideal for small-scale business events.
There is also a fully equipped kitchen where our chef prepares a variety of menus using traditional, classic Jumilla fare with a modern touch, to pair with each one of our wines.
